New! Cykla i Filmlandskapet Småland!

In the summer of 2020, Cykla i Filmlandskapet Småland (cycling in the Film Landscape Småland) launches bicycle tours between Katthult, Bullerbyn and Filmbyn Småland in Mariannelund.  
Rental bikes with accessories, food packages etc are pre-booked and picked up at Filmbyn, 700 meters from Spilhammars Camping.

Filmbyn

t Filmbyn (Film Village) you can experience scenes from classical children’s films, e.g. Emil in Lönneberga, the Bullerby children and Pippi Longstocking. Step into the world of film via a magical exhibition, created in the spirit of Astrid Lindgren. You’ll see classical film clips, original props and get to sing along with movie music. And, while you’re there, you might like to visit our café, our shop and one or other of the 12 filming locations nearby, such as Katthult and Bullerby. Canoes / Rowing boats

You can rent them at the campsite for make a pleasant trip on the lake.

To walk

On the campsite we have a card with walking routes / paths in different sizes: 
2½ , 5 and 10 km.

Sevedeleden

It is also possible to go for a walk in 3 stages from the campsite. You can rent a place or cottage on the campsite, and walk one stage every day. We can bring you and pick you up, so you can stay on the same place at the campsite. This is only possible during low season. (1 May -15 Juni/20 Aug -30 sept) If you want to use this service, please contact us before.

The starting point to Astrid Lindgrens world ...

Everything is build on scale, as child you go through the big human world. Astrid Lindgrens world is especially built for children, but adults can also have a lot of fun there. Is also a book and film from Astrid Lindgren. You can also think about: houses North, Middle, and South. There are living three families and there children and they are playing with each other. Nature

If you are interested in nature, the highlands off Småland are a very good place to be. You can go by boat to cranes or take a walk through the bushes and look at elks foxes etc. ( You can also ask the camping owner )

Fishing in Sweden / Mariannelund

Salmon and trout fishing in the lake Skruven. In the lakes which are close to the campsite you can catch fresh water fishes. Fishing licenses for the lakes and also for salmon- or trout fishing you can buy at the campsite, with the gasoil station and at the tourist office in Mariannelund. For more information about fishing in Sweden, please come to the reception.
