Fishing is a popular sport in Sweden. Therefore, the lakes around the campsite offer several spots where you can throw out your fishing rod. There are plenty of fish in the sea, but also in the Swedish lakes, including pike, perch and roach.

Do you want to cast your rod during your holiday? Keep in mind that you need a fishing permit for the surrounding waters. Come to the reception and ask for more information about the rules and regulations. You can also buy your permit there.

Do I need a fishing permit to be allowed to fish?
Yes, and these fishing permits can be purchased at the kiosk. A permit for a day costs 50 kronor and for a week 150 kronor. Please note! The fishing permit is only valid in the area surrounding the campsite and in the county of Eksjö. It provides you with permission to fish in the lakes Åsjön, Skruven and Fagersjön.
In which lakes can I go fishing if I have purchased a fishing permit?
There are three lakes around the campsite, one of which is divided into three parts. All of these lakes are suitable for fishing. Come to the kiosk and ask the staff for the best fishing spots. The map shows which lakes you can fish with the purchased fishing permit. Please note! It is not allowed to fish at the swimming areas.
Which fish can I catch in the lakes?
The fishing permit you buy at the kiosk gives you fishing rights for the lakes Åsjön, Skruven and Fagersjön. The first lake contains the most species of fish. Here you can find pike, perch, roach among others. In Fagersjön you can find pike, perch and roach as well and in the Skruven lake you can try to catch rainbow trout.
What bait should I use?
Years of experience and stories from guests tell us that bread is the most suitable bait. Do you want to try something different? In our kiosk you will find a wide range of fishing gear.
I would like to go fishing, can I rent a boat at the campsite?
