Lake Åsjön is not only ideal for swimming, but can also be explored by canoe or rowing boat. How convenient that these can be rented via the reception of our campsite! Enjoy the peace and quiet on the gorgeous lakes in the area or cast your fishing rod to study the local fish. If you like, you can bring your own canoe, kayak or sup board.

Do you want to rent a boat or canoe? During the high season it is wise to make a reservation. Come in and let us know when you want to go on a trip and we will help you along.
FAQ
I have reserved a canoe/boat, what now?
When you have made a reservation, you and your fellow sailors will meet up at kiosk. The staff will give you a life jacket for each passenger. We will then explain exactly where you to row and how the canoe/boat works. Finally, you will receive paddles for the canoes or the key for the boat.
How long can I take the canoe/boat?
At the Spilhammars Camping we do not have time slots. You can stay away with the canoe/boat as long as you like during the opening hours of the kiosk.
How much does it cost to rent a canoe/boat?
Renting a canoe/boat costs 80 kronor per hour, including life jackets and paddles. Please note! Life jackets are mandatory. Swimming while wearing them is not allowed. There is a surcharge of 50 kronor per life jacket for returning them wet.
I would like to go fishing, can I rent a boat at the campsite?
It is no problem to reserve a boat for a fishing trip. Some would even state that fishing is the perfect way to enjoy Swedish nature. We do ask that you leave the boat clean and fresh for the next guest. Want to know more about fishing in the area? Take a look at this page.
I would like to bring my own boat and put it in the water at the campsite. Is that possible?
Yes, that is no problem. Although we do not have a trailer space for boats, you can bring your own canoe/rowing boat. Please note! It is forbidden to use a motorized boat on the lakes around the campsite.
